WI Rustic Roads: Green Lake County, R22

Rustic Road 22, in Green Lake County, is also known as White River Rd. It's the main road through the White River Marsh State Wildlife Area. The video makes it look a bit desolate - staring into the sun on a flat dirt road winding through brown grass and bare trees. But every once in a while, you'll see some expanse of water peek out from between the reeds. It's obvious that at any time other than early November, when the marsh was preparing for winter, the whole area must be a steamy green jungle. This road might be worth a second visit to see that change.
